Here at Cocoa Doodles, our mission is to raise happy, healthy, and well-adjusted Goldendoodles that bring joy, love, and companionship to their families. We are deeply committed to ethical breeding practices, ensuring that each puppy is given the best start in life through excellent care, early socialization, and a nurturing environment.

Our breeding practices are guided by demand and our carefully curated waitlist, ensuring that each puppy has a loving home ready to welcome them. We rarely breed dams more than three times, unless our vet approves, and typically have no more than two litters a year. This intentional approach allows us to focus on the health and happiness of our dogs and puppies, rather than quantity. For us, breeding is a passion, not a business driven by profit. Every decision we make is rooted in our dedication to the breed and to the families who will cherish our puppies for years to come.

We ensure all of our dams and sires are genetically health-tested:

• Genetic testing helps identify carriers or dogs affected by specific hereditary diseases, enabling us to make informed breeding decisions.

• By avoiding breeding two carriers of the same genetic condition, we can significantly reduce the risk of producing puppies with health issues.

• We can strategically plan pairings to enhance desirable traits while minimizing the risk of genetic disorders.

• Genetic testing provides detailed insights into our dogs' genetic makeup, including traits and potential risks.

• This information is invaluable for planning future litters and making responsible breeding choices.

Puppy Socialization and Training

From their earliest days, our puppies are lovingly introduced to a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences to ensure they grow into confident, well-adjusted companions. They interact with children, adults, and other animals in a safe and nurturing environment. We also provide foundational training, such as exposure to crate and potty training, to set them up for success in their new homes.

Each puppy leaves our care with a clean bill of health and health records to share with their new families.

Finding the perfect match for our puppies is a responsibility we take seriously. We guide prospective families through an application and interview process to ensure the right fit. Our goal is to place each puppy in a loving home where they will thrive and bring joy to their new family.

Every puppy from Cocoa Doodles comes with a comprehensive care package and guarantees to ensure they start their new lives happy and healthy. Each puppy is vet-checked, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and comes with a 2-year health guarantee as well as a 7-day well-puppy warranty for added peace of mind.

We also send our puppies off with a special goody basket filled with essentials and thoughtful extras. This includes a collar and leash, tasty treats, fun toys, enough food for the first few days, and a cozy blanket infused with their mama’s scent to ease the transition into their new home. It’s our way of ensuring both you and your puppy have everything you need to begin your journey together on the right paw!
